All-in-one : A loot at the cosmetics of tomorrow

As a cosmetics manufacturer, we have to meet specifications that are ever more sophisticated. As a consequence, we are becoming ever more creative in order to offer you products that best fit your brand, with optimal and innovative textures, effects, galenics, and efficiency. Smooth, white emulsions that perform a single function are a thing of the past. Driven by technological innovations and informed consumers, we are in the era of intelligent formulation.

WHERE DOES INNOVATION START?

To offer the most effective products in regard to expected actions, our formulators are constantly seeking new ingredients, plants, and active agents with multiple beneficial properties. Scrupulously selected, the raw materials we use combine performance and strict compliance with regulatory constraints,  despite the fact that these constraints are regularly and increasingly evolving.

The main constraint we face, which is complex but legitimate, is the restriction of ingredients required by the new European regulation of July 2013. This is often reinforced by the blacklisting of ingredients. Many consumers, usually influenced by the media, want products containing ever fewer ingredients.

OPTIMISED FORMULAS

To counter these restrictions, we work by the principle of “doing better with less”, by developing short, highly technical formulas. With formulas containing an optimised number of ingredients, we therefore avoid everything that could cause problems in terms of tolerance. For this purpose, our formulas are composed of new generation active ingredients, i.e. multifunctional ingredients that meet several needs.

The development of active ingredients with multiple benefits has led to the emergence of all-in-one products. And the key product at the centre of everyone’s expectations is the anti-aging one! Today, a single anti-ageing product can combat all signs of ageing (including wrinkles, visible pores, skin tone, sun-damage, blemishes and dry skin).

AND INTERNATIONALLY?

As well as ensuring strict compliance with European regulations, we also strive to make products that will meet export requirements. We work closely with our suppliers, who have specialist knowledge of the ingredients authorised in China, America and Brazil. This gives us a close understanding of local expectations and allows us to offer formulas tailored to each country’s needs.
